Last Sneak Peak for July Stamps!

Here it is! Last sneak peek - and you can buy this set over at Clear Dollar Stamps tomorrow!!!

I really enjoyed making this card! I love the way it came out with that vineyard of grapes as the centerpiece!! This sentiment is also in the set - "celebrate!" - you can use it for anything!! This really is a great set with outlines and solids to make really great creations! As you can see, I stamped the grapes onto twill for a custom ribbon!

So make sure you stop by Clear Dollar Stamps tomorrow and see all the new releases!! There are a couple I am going to be grabbing - so make sure you get yours!

Hope to "see" you again soon!

Sneak Peek #3

Here it is - the third sneak peek for Clear Dollar Stamps' Just Divine, which will be released on July 1st!! Make sure you get over there to get your stamps and click the links on my side bar to see the rest of the work by the design team!

This card was a color challenge for the Design Team - and I don't think it was an overly "grape friendly" challenge - but I think it came out pretty good!!

I am not sure you can read it, but the sentiment says "I like you a whole bunch". It is actually on one-line on the stamp set, but I had no problem stamping and masking so I could put it on two lines. It is done with stazon ink and the little slide it is on is available at Clear Dollar Stamps (www.cdstamps.com).
Thanks for stopping by!! And again, don't forget to go over to Clear Dollar Stamps on Tuesday for the release of all these fabulous stamps the design team has been showing you over the past couple of days!

Two Challenges!

I was able to get two layouts done yesterday (actually I got more done, but I have to save some stuff for "special occasions"!), both for challenges.

The first one is for CPS. I think I went off sketch slightly on this one, but I think the basic of the sketch is still there - probably (hee hee). Anyway, even if I am off sketch, the inspiration came from CPS's weekly sketch.

The worse part, I have no clue where most of the supplies came from - the cardstock is Bazzill, I think the patterned paper is SEI. Both were purchased from
www.allthatscraps.com. The white cardstock is more than likely CTMH. Ink is stazon - colored with SU markers. Buttons and ribbon were in the stash!
The second layout was for a sketch challenge (Weekly Challenge #10) over at 4 Scrappy Sisters. I can tell you the kit (papers, cardstock, photo clips, orange plastic circle and chipboard) is from Apron Strings Designs. Letters are CTMH cardstock, QK Diesel Alphabet, stamped with CTMH stamps (May SOTM). Dew drops are from www.cropstop.com.

I will be showing another sneak peek for Clear Dollar Stamps later today, so you might want to be on the lookout for it!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Another Sneak Peek!!

Sneak Peek #2 - this is a place card using the new - not yet released - JUST DIVINE set from Clear Dollar Stamps (http://www.cdstamps.com/). Quite simple - I used pop-dots for dimension on the grape bunches. The "dad" stamps is from their monogram "D" set - which is retiring so if you want any of them - gotta run and get them PDQ!

I will have another sneak peek tomorrow!!! It was a color challenge - and it wasn't overly "grape" friendly, so I hope you like it!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

SNEAK PEEK!!

As I announced earlier on my blog, I have the absolute DELIGHT of being a Guest Desiger for Clear Dollar Stamps (http://www.cdstamps.com/) this month! I worked with a set called JUST DIVINE and I will tell you it is Just Divine! :)

I purchased this alterable frame from my local A.C. Moore, and decorated it with just four of the many stamps that come in this set. There are several phrases, grapes, leaves (as you can see from above) vines, etc. The ribbon is white grosgrain and that clear slide is available at Clear Dollar Stamps!

It is an absolutely GREAT set! It will make it's debut at Clear Dollar Stamps on July 1st! Be sure to be there on the first to get yours!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mini Pizza Box....

I found the directions on how to make this on Jen del Muro's blog!! It was quite simple actually but REALLY REALLY cute. I do believe she created it herself. (Thanks for sharing Jen) The picture isn't the best and I will try to get a better one over the weekend. It ends up being about 4" square when you're done with it.

I made this with my Apron Strings Designs June Kit (you should go further down my blog - there are several other projects on here using the June kit). The flowers was made with my Scalloped Circle nestabilites and the sentiment is PaperTrey. The button was in the stash but looks like Doodlebug to me. The ribbon that goes around the edge of the box (you can't see it very well in this picture) is from Savvy 'n' Sassy.

Thanks for visiting! Hope to "see" you again soon!

As American as Apple Pie!!!

One more Box in a Bag! This one is specifically for the Design Team at Clear Dollar Stamps - they just rock!! You should check out their blogs...there's a link on the left side of my blog.

This one is made with the Clear Dollar Stamps Patriotic Nuggets set (to purchase for yourself, go to http://www.cdstamps.com/), Blue Jean Doodlebug flowers, CTMH white cardstock, Bazzill Blue textured cardstock and red, white & blue ribbons and a red button from my stash! I am hoping you can read the words, in case you can't I will tell you that the stamps say We Love Our Troops and God Bless America.

Thanks for visiting!!

Box in a Bag

I saw this on somebody else's blog, and it let me to a tutorial on someone else's blog! I don't recall who, but I will see if I can find it so I can give credit where credit is due!! (And so you can have the tutorial for yourself!)

I found the link - the credit goes to Paula Goff at Inking Addict!

http://inkingaddict.blogspot.com/2008/06/would-you-like-to-made-box-in-bag.html

Anyway, I used one of my June Apron Strings Designs kits. (you get three sets every month!!) Had I used a paper that was a little more plain, I probably would have decorated it more than I did, however, since this had these BEAUTIFUL flowers as a bottom border, I thought it was perfect as is!

The only thing I added that wasn't in the kit was the ribbon on the top. And the top tabs were punched with a Uchida tab punch!

This second one was made using the same Apron Strings Designs kit - paper is a little busier but I felt it could be embellished, so I added the clear tags and chipboard shapes as well as a few cute little blings! {all from the Apron Strings kit too}

Thanks for visiting!!

Apron String Designs - Summer Challenge!

Okay - over at Apron Strings Designs, they have decided to hold us a 10-week summer challenge! Yes - I wrote that correctly - 10 weeks!! The first one started today and was Monochromatic Red. I don't know where the two patterned papers are from. The cardstock is Bazzill, the sugar coated brads and flowers are Doodlebug. I am not 100% where the ribbons came from either. (I know that's not much help).

I do love the way it came out. I did draw out a sketch, however, I sketched it based on a layout from Dawn over at Savvy 'n' Sassy. (Thanks Dawn!) Also, the picture seems a little off colorwise...I will try to get a better picture later.

Thanks for stopping by!

All That Scraps Challenge

This weeks All That Scraps challenge (http://www.allthatscraps.com/) was to make your background from stamps - not patterned paper. Since I didn't have any ATS Background stamps, I opted for my new glam girls using the 4th of July stamp from the new girls and the "sparkle" stamp from the original girls. Love the way it came out!!

What else was used was Layla from the CC Designs Glam Girls, Bazzill Cardstock, and Doodlebug ribbon and paper.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Two more challenges~

Here are two more items from my Creative Saturday!! Unfortunately, when I finished them late yesterday, it was already too dark to get the pictures!

This is Jen's SFYTT (http://www.iheart2stamp.com/) however I made it into a layout - which I do a lot! If you read here regularly, although I do create a lot of cards for challenges and such, I really am a scrapbooker at heart!

Here are the details: Cardstock is Bazzill, Ribbon is American Crafts. The title is called a Li'l Liner and I don't remember who makes it, but I do have a few by them! Brads are Doodlebug Sugarcoated Limeade - purchased at http://www.cropstop.com/. I am unsure who the patterned paper is by, it was in the stash!

Next is a card using CPS#69, Part 4. The image is one I got in a swap of Stella from http://www.stampingbella.com/ (not sure of the exact name of the stamp). Ribbon is American Crafts, cardstock Bazzill and again, patterned paper from stash. The little star brads are CTMH.
Thanks for visiting!

Sketches & Flamingos!!

I have two to show you here! The first one is Stamp Something's Week #7 Sketch. It's actually a scrapbook page - a picture of my daughter at the zoo. She always strikes this pose when we get to the flamingo exhibit. So I decided to scrap it. I do have to figure out a title and will probably replace the picture once I have it on there, but here it is to match the sketch. The papers are Bo Bunny and were part of an Apron Strings Design kit. Green and yellow cardstock are CTMH. Brads are Doodlebug Sugar Coated and purchased at http://www.cropstop.com/. Ribbon is by Savvy 'n' Sassy. Check them out too! http://www.savvynsassy.com/

Next I have a card for Sketches! {by tamara}'s weekly sketch. The papers are DCWV (I think) the cardstock and ribbon are CTMH. The stamps are by Clear Dollar Stamps - as I am one of their Guest Designer's for July, I decided to feature them a lot!! Their site is http://www.cdstamps.com/. The white underneath the butterfly is embossed with the Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy embossing folder which I purchased from http://www.cropstop.com/ - love them!!

Thanks for visiting yet again on my creative Saturday!

Laura's Sketch #2

Here's my take on Laura's Sketch #2 at 2 Sketches 4 You! It's a fabulous new challenge blog! Paper is BoBunny and I am not sure about the blue paper that is underneath. I can tell you they both came from my Apron Strings Designs kits - they were left over scraps. The ribbon is CTMH. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps (gotta check them out - great stamps at great prices!!) and then of course there's iPodabella from Stamping Bella.

I think this card came out great and would like to thank all these great sketch artists!! You guys give me inspiration all the time!!! I have gotten more cards and layouts done since I have been watching all these sketches!

Thanks for stopping by!!

It's Creative Saturday so there could be more!!!

Sketches {by tamara} Challenge - Layout

Here's my take on the weekly Sketches {by tamara} layout sketch. This is actually an adjust layout. I had it complete and decided it was a little too busy (I still think it's too busy) but I'm okay with it! :) The picture is of me and my daughter, Amanda.
Papers are from my Apron Strings Designs kit (how many times have you heard me say that!!!) and there's lots of stuff used here: Doodlebug Tokens, MM Velvet brads, Prima flowers, CTMH rhinestone flowers and brads. Everything else was in my kit!!!

Thanks for stopping by again!! Looks like it might be one of those creative Saturdays, so I could be back again!
P.S. If you hit refresh by the time you get here, the little bird with become animated if you didn't already see it....

Apron Strings Designs - Altered Sketch

This is my final sketch challenge for June for the Apron Strings Design challenge. We had to take the layout sketch and alter it. This is using my June STABB kit - Grunge. It worked really well for the boys and I LOVE the 97% 7 Gypsies stickers that came with it!! I chose for this layout: 'work with me here', 'now hold still', and 'too good for mortal men'. I am sure the boys will love it!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Challenges - Two for One deal!!

This is first a Sketch Challenge over on the Apron Strings Designs Yahoo group...so I was obviously using their papers, etc from their June kit. I happen to have the Smaller than a BreadBox kit. The base of the card is by DCWV.

The second challenge is for Our Creative Corner - a new challenge site! They request use of at least one button and one brad on a card! My brads are the dots of the I's in my "HI"s at the bottom of the card (cut out of a Cuttlebug Alphabet - Olivia I believe) and the button is in the center of my flower on the tag!

I love how this little card came out! Hope you do to and thanks for stopping by!

If you didn't see him do his thing, I assume you can just hit refresh and he'll move again!!

MOJO MONDAY & APRON STRING DESIGNS

Here's a card I made tonight using my Apron Strings Design kit (scraps of it actually) for their challenge over on their Yahoo Forum!!

It is using this past Monday's Mojo Monday sketch from Poetic Artistry. The sentiment reads: "Life Is Better When It Sparkles" and is by Verve Visual. Verve Visual has the BEST sentiments!!!

The papers are Chatterbox, cardstock Bazzill, brads are Doodlebug. The butterfly was cut out using my new combo from Cuttlebug which I purchased at (http://www.cropstop.com/). The "balls" on the butterfuly were purchase from my local Michael's.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Challenges Challenges

Challenges, challenges!! Love them - they MAKE me create! It's so easy to collect my scrapping supplies and not use them - but all these sketches and challenges just call my name and beg me to make use of that inspiration!!
This one again, is a two-fer! I know if you read my blog on any kind of regular basis you find that I use Apron Strings Designs kits ALL THE TIME!! I adore them! Well, I joined the ASD Yahoo group and they challenge you with a sketch each month and to obviously use their kit! So, on that note - here's my version of the June Kit.

It's also a challenge over on the Savvy N Sassy ribbon forum. This particular challenge was to "cut up" your patterned paper. I cut the butterflies out of the new Chatterbox papers that came in my ASD kit!!!

The flower border at the bottom is one of the new QuicKutz 12" border dies. The brads are CTMH and the "balls" that make up the butterfly bodies were purchased at my local Michaels. The title, which goes over the two pages, would read CONGRATS if these pictures were side by side! :)

Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you again soon.
